With any property that our customers are not living at permanently or AirBnB. We add will add a garden hose timer. They cost around $25. We will connect it to the water hose at the property so when our technicians service the pool they can turn on the hose timer to desired time to fill up the pool automatically. So we don’t have to bother the property managers or AirBnB guests.

If this happens there is not need to panic. Simply brush the feces around in the pool and the filtration system will filter it all out. There isn’t really any other option. As long as the pool is balanced with the proper chemicals it will kill any bacteria within the feces. No need to go and buy extra chemicals and shock the pool. If this continues to happen we recommend buying a floating plastic alligator head online. This will deter the animals to not come near the pool. It really works!

Comfortable water temperature is 88 degrees. Most all AirBnB properties keep the temperatures set between 86 to 90

The only benefit in reality of having a saltwater pool is eliminating the use of harsh chlorine weekly. When chlorine is added weekly you have to add a certain amount each week. That will have to hold the pool stabile for an entire week. Salt water systems will maintain the safe chlorine/salinity level constant for the week. By having a salt water water system is like having soft water in your home water system. Most homeowners have the misconception that by having a salt water system that is all that is needed for chemical balancing. But, that isn’t correct. All the system does is eliminate one out of four essential chemicals needed for proper water balancing. These systems will raise the ph in pools constantly and more muriatic acid will need to be added weekly. At least 1/2 gallon a week. Stabilizer/conditioner levels will need to be maintained regularly. This will ensure the water will hold the salt water system salinity levels when produced by the system. By adding more acid to the the pool the alkalinity levels will drop and sodium bicarbonate will need to be added regularly.

The frequency of cleaning may vary depending on the season, weather, and usage of your pool. If you have an air bnb property ideally twice a week service is recommended.. This is simply for the safety of the guests renting the property because they might have more people using the pool than usual, you may need to increase the frequency of cleaning to keep up with the added demand.

If you are struggling with a green pool or algae issues, don’t worry. You’re not alone! Algae is the most common problem pool owners face. With several thousand species of algae that thrive in warm temperatures here in South Florida it can be tough to get rid of once it sets in. If you’re dealing with a severe case of algae, you can super chlorinate your pool and add an algaecide product to the water. If the pool is blue and has algae issues that means the chlorine is not active in the pool. Algaecide treatments are only need when the chlorine level in pool is super high and the water has algae. Meaning the active chlorine is locked in the pool due to too much stabilizer/conditioner. This mainly happens when homeowners uses a excessive amount of chlorine tablets. Chlorine tablets are good for pools at times but they can be bad if used excessively for a long period of time.. They raise the stabilizer/conditioner level in the pools which locks the chlorine and makes the chlorine inactive. They also lower the ph and alkalinity which in turn makes the water acetic and starts to deteriorate the pool surface finish. If your pool is totally green then the algaecide treatment isn’t the best option.
If your pool is totally green or if you’re struggling with an algae and you’re struggling to clear it up, don’t hesitate to give us a call. Our team of experts can help you get your pool back to its crystal-clear state in no time. There are two options: the slow less expensive remedy to resolve this issue is to go through the treatment process. But keep in mind all of the green dead algae must be filtered through the filtration system which could take a week or a month depending on how often the filter is cleaned after the treatment. If there is a rush, then the best remedy is to drain the pool, clean out all of the algae and debris, acid wash the surface to brighten up the pool surface, re-fill the pool and completely balance the water

Algae are the most common problem a pool owner will face. There are several thousand species of algae and most thrive in areas where there is plenty of light and warm temperatures. Depending on how severe your algae problem, you could get rid of it by super chlorinating your pool and adding an algaecide product to the water. If you cannot see the bottom of the pool because of an algae infestation, it is often easier and less expensive to completely drain and chlorine wash the pool to get rid of the algae.
